GUARDIANS OF THE GALAXY HOLIDAY CAMPAIGN
Shutterstock and Marvel Studios teamed up to put a cosmic twist on traditional holiday cards. Thousands of users created fun Guardians of the Galaxy themed cards with Creative Flow™.
OUR APPROACH
As part of Shutterstock’s partnership with Marvel Studios, we created design templates with a Guardians of the Galaxy Holiday theme for our customers to customize as their own.
Our primary goals were traffic/engagement and brand affinity.
We built a full-funnel marketing campaign, including influencer partners, allowing our products and tools to shine.

LANDING PAGE COLLABORATION
As part of the Marvel x Shutterstock partnership, I worked closely with our Product Marketing Manager to create and launch the program’s landing page.
I provided visual direction within Marvel’s strict brand guidelines, curated assets, and collaborated on messaging to ensure the page clearly communicated the value of the partnership.
The landing page served as the central hub for licensed collections, product pages, and promotional materials, maintaining consistency with Marvel’s global brand standards.
The Marvel x Shutterstock landing page brought the partnership to life with curated visuals, clear calls-to-action, and strict alignment to Marvel’s global brand standards. Designed to serve as the central hub for users exploring licensed collections and assets, the page balanced storytelling with functionality to drive engagement across product and marketing channels.
KEY RESULTS
Overall, creative outperformed benchmarks and we were able to secure media coverage to help boost Shutterstock's brand awareness and reach new audiences
Creative across Marvel's owned and operated channels performed above benchmark. The influencer activation led the high number of video views and the level of effort was low.
